Upcycled frayed patchwork jacket with front (and back) pocket. The piece was handmade through an experimental approach that involved patching together small pieces of fabric without any clear pattern or rule in mind. I used jeans offcuts from the classes I teach (or just the jeans and jeans pieces I had around the atelier). One-of-a-kind, as it would be impossible to create a jacket looking the same.
It can fit sizes L to XL (depending on how much you like loose cuts). Model height 1,94 m, his size is L.
Large
Bodice length (from center back to hemline): 62 cm, Bust circumference: 123 cm , Sleeve length (inseam): 51 cm, Back width: 59 cm
Jeans 95% cottom, 5% elastane
Your piece will keep a similar look if you hand wash it. The more mechanical movement you apply to it (a.k.a. washing in the washing machine with spinning and friction) the more, the jean edges will fray – it shouldn't be a problem, it's just the nature of the design to create more fraying in time.
